Air Traffic at Phoenix Sky Harbor
June 30, 2018



I visited Sky Harbor in the afternoon of June 30, 2018 to photograph the Homeuwell 757 engine testbed returning from southeast Asia. I also caught a British Airways 747, Alaska's Boeing 100 Years Strong 737 and an American One World 737.

American Airbus A321-231 N579UW first flew on May 9, 2014. Its construction number is 6100. It was delivered to American on May 15, 2014.

Southwest Boeing 737-7H4 N919WN first flew on April 14, 2008. Its construction number is 36625. It was delivered to Southwest on May 1, 2008.

Southwest Boeing 737-7H4 N414WN first flew on September 21, 2001. Its construction number is 29820. It was delivered to Southwest on November 13, 2001.

Honeywell Boeing 757-225 N757HW engine testbed returning to Phoenix Sky Harbor from a visit to southeas Asia. It visited Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Singapore, and Indonesia. It returned by way of Guam and Hawaii.

It first flew on February 4, 1983. Its construction number is 22194. It was delivered to Eastern Airlines as N504EA on February 28, 1983. It was withdrawn from use at McCarren Airport, Nevada in January 1991. Airtours International Airways registered it as G-JALC on February 1, 1995. Airtours International Airways changed its name to MyTravel Airways on May 1, 2002. Honeywell International Incorporated gave it its current registration on October 4, 2005. It was flown to Pinal Airpark for painting on October 24, 2005. It made its first flight with three engines on December 20, 2008.

Southwest Boeing 737-76N N7822A first flew on November 29, 2001. Its construction number is 32596. It was delivered to China Xinjiang Airlines as B-2699 on December 19, 2001. It was transferred to China Southern Airliens on October 7, 2005. Southwest registered it as N7822A on January 28, 2015.

American Airbus A320-232 N601AW first flew on January 17, 2003. Its construction number is 1935. was delivered to BAHC as N320CD on June 17, 2003. It was leased to Aero Lloyd as D-ALAU on August 4, 2003. It was leased to America West as N601AW on December 3, 2003. It was transferred to US Airways on February 12, 2006. It was merged into the American fleet on December 10, 2013.
